When Modicum has a conversation with a new client, we explain what we’d like to do WITH them—not for them. The best new service is partnership – an ongoing relationship with an agency partner who is committed to meeting your business goals.

It’s important for any partner to understand your business, your audience, and what message you’re truly trying to convey. Even beautiful design isn’t worth a lot when it’s not actively supporting your goals. Our team can be the strategic minds and the creative hands that help form the pieces you need to make your venture successful. The best way to do that is to build a partnership that extends from concept all the way through to execution.

Our collaborative process

Discovery

The most important part of creating is aligning the work to a business goal. We begin our process by discussing your goals and developing an understanding of your brand. We want to know who you are and how you want your audience to feel. Understanding the overall mission helps us get a better grasp of your needs and the goals of your project.

Strategy

We always create with intention. Launching a design program before you’ve spent the appropriate amount of time thinking about how to approach the project can be a recipe for failure. Strategy sets the framework for design and written content and helps bridge the gap between visuals, copy, UX, and overall marketing strategy.

Content

Once our team understands your audience, we work together to develop your messaging. We’re talking voice, tone, and other content elements that will make your project a success.

After our team knows your goals and perspective inside and out, we can personify your brand with a voice that’s all yours. Then, we’ll make sure every last choice, sentence, and graphic stays true to it.

Design

In the design phase, our team uses mood boards, story boards, mock-ups, and wireframes to get the look and feel of a project just right. Then, we get to work on iterations and rounds of edits until we achieve the final product.

Media

Once we have a better understanding of your audience, we’ll discuss a media strategy to make sure your message grabs its audience’s attention. Our team works together to develop a strategy for reaching your goals while showcasing your point of view. We’re talking platforms, distribution, and the all of the decisions that make your project a success.

We’ll make sure your campaign looks great across platforms, giving you alternate cuts to make sure you have the best version of your content for each platform.

A great relationship leads to great work

When you build a partnership with your team, you’ll get a lot more than just a good looking deliverable. You’ll have a more effective and persuasive way of ensuring that your message is heard. Whether you’re working on a rebrand with heavy lifting in the discovery phase or a keynote where the bulk of the work is centered around content, our team has your back.
