How do you rock your keynote and make people remember your event all year?
Upfronts are splashy and grand annual rituals where TV networks woo advertisers for the upcoming season. Year after year, BET came to us to help generate enough excitement for both advertisers and viewers to last through the whole season.

BET was using a static timeline to tout their history and highlight their milestones but wanted to find a way to pull the audience into a more engaging and inclusive story featuring their signature big bold personality.
We produced a live-action video with BET and embedded it in their keynote PowerPoint presentation. Using BET’s greatest resource—their talent—we made the history lesson fun, entertaining and a one-of-a-kind experience.
Another year, after designing the upfronts presentation itself, BET wanted to find a way to bring the bright lights and big stars experience of being at the event to their greater audience out in the world and in their homes.
We bottled the rock-concert-experience that is the upfronts into an interactive microsite, giving a much wider audience a fully immersive and excitement-generating experience.

How it all turned out
BET nailed their upfronts in the arena and in people’s homes, impressing a much greater audience than they ever had before. Our designer-on-the-scene, Rachel Jones, had a brush with Brandy and walked away with a great souvenir.
